how he does it is the 5 of spades is at the bottom the whole time, the blue card is also at the 5 of spades (2 5 of spades red/blue) he put the blue card in the deck so you won’t see it and put your card under it(with a clip i think it’s called but anyway he’ll only go to there) so he grabs your card and the blue one at the same time (that’s why he had a little trouble picking it up every time) then when he put it back he puts the card(s) on the top of the deck and removes the blue (5 of spades) card and puts it face down on the table. then he used a very simple card force to show the 5 of spades, it doesn’t leave the deck, it is red so you can’t pick it out, so then he turns over the blue card that was 5 of spades the whole time…i got it the first time i saw it…good luck mystifying

I use this setup, but rather than CHASED, my memory system for the suits is Clubs over your head, next comes your Heart, dig with a spade, Diamonds are in the ground.
